Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting a Mechanical Service Engineer based near Coventry with a year-long training programme to develop you into a field service engineer with a path toward field-based account management. The role is located at our Coventry site and offers exposure to OEM and end-user clients across a global manufacturing group.

The position combines 80% reactive work and 20% scheduled maintenance, including training customers on equipment use to prevent issues and improve

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer in industrial capital equipment.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (ONC/HNC/HND or higher).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and scheduled maintenance on client sites.
• Repair, fault finding and performance reviews.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and best practices.
