Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead site delivery of mechanical packages on a major infrastructure project in West London. You will coordinate installation teams, manage subcontractors and ensure works are performed safely, on time and to specification.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical building services, with proven ability to manage packages through installation, commissioning and handover, plus excellent communication

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager.
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation activities across the project
• Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site labour
• Manage mechanical packages from installation through testing, commissioning and handover
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and construction information
• Ensure installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs
• Monitor programme, productivity and quality
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil and other disciplines
• Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and relevant site documentation
• Identify and resolve installation and coordination issues
• Attend project, progress and coordination meetings
• Manage snagging and close-out of mechanical works
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout delivery

An experienced Mechanical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor working on a major infrastructure project in West London.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the site delivery of mechanical packages, coordinating installation teams and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme and specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation activities across the project

Requirements

• Good technical understanding of mechanical installations and associated systems
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and site coordination
• Confident interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
• Experience taking packages through installation, commissioning and handover
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or complex project experience would be advantageous
