Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of mechanical packages on a major infrastructure project in West London. You will work closely with the site team, commercial and engineering colleagues and the client to deliver on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning through handover, coordinating designers and subcontractors, monitoring progress and costs, and leading risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E/building services.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installations.
• Experience delivering large or technically complex mechanical packages.
• Commercial awareness and managing subcontractor packages.
• Strong programme and project management capabilities.
• Experience managing projects through commissioning and handover.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within a demanding construction environment.
• Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous.

• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.

• Manage subcontractor performance and package delivery.
• Lead progress and coordination meetings.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate solutions.
• Ensure mechanical works meet required quality and technical standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil and other project disciplines.
• Oversee commissioning, snagging, O&M information and project close-out.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and wider project team.
• Ensure health & safety requirements are maintained throughout delivery.

An experienced Mechanical Project Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.

This position will take responsibility for the management and delivery of mechanical packages, working closely with the site construction team, commercial department, engineering team and client.

Key Responsibilities
