Job Title: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, including repairs (such as racing damage) and servicing of various off-road and track competition vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. They should be competent in electrical system repair and building, possess light fabrication skills, and have experience with fiberglass repairs. Welding and machining skills are a plus but are not essential.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This position can be offered part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder interested in part-time work during retirement. The role requires road and off-road testing, so applicants must have a clean UK driving license.
