Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, as well as repairing and servicing racing damage and other off-road and track competition vehicles.
The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include building and repairing electrical systems, light fabrication, and fiberglass repairs. Welding and machining skills are a plus but not mandatory.
The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the project engineer alongside other team members, including both permanent staff and self-employed contractors.
This position can be offered part-time, making it suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. A clean UK driving license is required, as road testing and off-site testing will be part of the role.
