Job Title: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing racing damage, and servicing various off-road and track competition vehicles, including fabrication work.

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. They should be competent in electrical systems repair and building, possess light fabrication skills, and have experience with fiberglass repairs. Welding and machining skills are preferred but not essential.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and freelance.

This position can be offered part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. The role requires road and off-road testing, so a clean UK driving license is essential.
