Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician for an Outside IR35 6-month contract in Warminster, Wiltshire. The role includes a weekly pay cycle (£19.00/hr base rate) with overtime and a comprehensive travel & subsistence package.

Fully on-site in Warminster, the position requires NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, BPSS clearance eligibility, and fleet/vehicle maintenance experience. Travel allowances and hotel stay are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Vehicle Technician within fleet, commercial, or ex-forces backgrounds preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and servicing capabilities on fleet platforms.
• Eligibility for BPSS security clearance is required and fully sponsored by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete reworks, upgrades, and corrective actions identified during quality checks.
• Execute maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of site Health & Safety and regulatory compliance.

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Warminster, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Situated conveniently in Warminster with direct access via the A36 and A350.

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
