Job summary

Diageo in Menstrie, Scotland is seeking an Operator to join a weekly rotating three-shift pattern (night, early, backshift) in a permanent full-time role. You will ensure safe and efficient daily operations, maintain product integrity, and support manufacturing systems while prioritising health and safety.

You will work in a self-led team, adapt to different areas as needed, and participate in training to build skills for long-term development within our maturation sites.

Qualifications

• Understanding of occupational wellness procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Experience in whisky warehousing is an advantage.
• Manual handling experience is helpful.
• Positive, proactive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good numerical and basic digital literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental, and HMRC requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures and manage hazards and risks.
• Move casks and spirit safely according to procedures.
• Work to daily/weekly plans and support site targets.
• Train and coach team members and support their development.
• Complete required training and maintain competency.
