Job summary

Diageo, home to Baileys, is seeking a Shift Manager to lead End-to-End operations on shift. You will ensure safe, hygienic production and drive performance, quality, and cost targets while developing teams and mentoring staff.

You will champion health, safety, and environmental standards, manage changeovers, and collaborate with unions and the wider site team to deliver world-class manufacturing results.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments with strong leadership.
• IOSH certification or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Degree in a relevant subject (food science, quality, or engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and standards.
• Proactive with structured problem-solving and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety across shifts and drive safety culture.
• Uphold quality standards and perform line quality checks per SOPs.
• Drive performance across the site and support manufacturing excellence.
• Develop and coach shift teams with 1:1s and Personal Development Plans.
