Job summary

Master of Malt is recruiting a Liquid Production Operative to join our Edinburgh-based Liquid Production team, supporting the production of liquid spirit and whisky with a focus on quality, safety and compliance. You’ll assist in blending, vatting and recipe production, carry out quality checks, maintain records and cooperate with Warehouse & Production to meet targets and KPIs.

This is a 6-month fixed-term, full-time contract (7:00am–3:30pm) with salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths (or equivalent) required.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good IT skills with Google Workspace.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake and storage of raw liquids and ingredients for blending.
• Support production of liquid spirit and whisky and ensure quality checks.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure product integrity.
• Prepare, operate and maintain production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records for quality assurance.
• Report non-conformities to the Line Manager.
• Collaborate with Warehouse & Production teams and other departments.
• Help manage workloads to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to continuous improvement.
