About the Role

Smile Education is looking for a passionate, experienced Maths Teacher to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that builds confidence and promotes achievement in mathematics.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
  • Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback using both formal examinations and informal assessments
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and disciplined learning environment that promotes engagement and resilience
  • Keep accurate records of student progress, attainment, and attendance
  • Attend staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and best practice
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as parents’ evenings and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related subject and QTS (or equivalent)
