Job summary

Aspris Ridgeway School seeks a qualified Maths Teacher to join our specialist autism education team supporting pupils aged 7-16. You will work with a dedicated group of Teachers and Therapists delivering a personalised curriculum.

Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer is beneficial; strong communication, problem solving and IT confidence (PC/iPad) will help you thrive. Training and safeguarding are provided, with a supportive environment at Aspris.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Training and development will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a specialist maths curriculum in collaboration with Therapists.
• Support autistic pupils to engage with learning and develop independence.
• Assist with social and independent activities to aid development.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff, including via email.
