Qualifications

  • Hold UK QTS.
  • Significant classroom experience up to KS4.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and high expectations for all pupils.
  • Understanding of adaptive and inclusive teaching approaches.
  • Willing to participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Passion for education and inspiring young people.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Experience or interest in supporting the delivery of Science, Computing or PE.
  • Share our commitment to Confidence, Courage, Compassion and Community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including autistic pupils and those with additional special educational needs.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching accordingly.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and learning in line with school procedures.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of additional curriculum areas, including, but not limited to, Science, Computing or PE, where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals to support positive outcomes for pupils.
