Job summary

Aspris Ridgeway School, a specialist autism school for 7-16 year olds, is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join the education support team. You will work alongside Teachers and Therapists to deliver a personalised curriculum and support pupils across learning, social and independence activities.

The role requires flexibility, empathy and strong communication. Training and safeguarding checks are provided to help you progress within Aspris Children’s Services.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and use email effectively.
• Comfort with basic PC/iPad use and online resources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a specialist curriculum to autistic pupils with personalised support.
• Support teaching and learning, social and independence activities.
• Contribute to effective implementation of individual programmes under supervision.
