Job summary

Aspris Ridgeway School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist autism education team caring for pupils aged 7-16. You will support teachers and therapists to deliver a personalised curriculum and to foster confidence and independence in students.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer would be beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and develop training.
• Ability to communicate effectively via email and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning, social and independence activities for pupils.
• Assist in implementing individual programmes with IT resources where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Teachers and Therapists to deliver a specialist curriculum and support progress.
