Job summary

A leading educational service provider is seeking a full-time Maths Teacher for an SEMH & ASC school in Basingstoke. The ideal candidate will have QTS and experience in a SEN/SEMH setting, engaging with pupils to build positive relationships and deliver a tailored Maths curriculum. The position starts ASAP and is permanent.

Job description

Overview

Maths Teacher - QTS for SEMH & ASC School, Basingstoke – KS3/KS4. ASAP start. This is a full-time, permanent teaching position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exciting and engaging Maths curriculum that develops learners' Maths knowledge and skills.
• Engage with pupils in a SEN/SEMH setting, build positive relationships, and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Contribute to a learning environment where students can thrive and achieve their potential.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fully qualified Maths Teacher (QTS).
• Emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and committed to high standards of teaching.
• Experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH setting is preferred, but candidates with relevant resilience and engagement skills in similar contexts will also be considered.
• Willingness to work in a secondary provision for pupils aged 10-16 with SEMH and ASC.
• Based in or able to commute to Basingstoke (location stated in the job description).
