Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support the Maths department, enabling inclusion of students with SEN under the direction of the SEN Co-ordinator and Senior Leadership. You will work across lessons to ensure equal opportunities for learners, with experience working with young people preferred.

The role is term-time plus five days, 37 hours per week, 12-month fixed term contract, with a pro rata salary and a strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with SEN.
• Ability to support inclusion within maths lessons under guidance of SEN Co-ordinator and SLT.
• Experience working with young people is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusion of students with SEN within the maths department.
• Work under the direction of the SEN Co-ordinator and Senior Leadership.
• Assist in delivering maths lessons and supporting learners' needs.
