Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking an English HLTA to work within the English department, supporting students with SEN under the SEN Co-ordinator and SLT. This role focuses on inclusion and ensuring equal opportunities for all learners.

The successful candidate will join a well-resourced and supportive department with strong CPD, wellbeing initiatives, and a commitment to safeguarding. Contract is fixed-term for 12 months, 37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.
• Term time plus 5 days and 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusion of students with SEN under the direction of the SEN Co-ordinator and Senior Leadership.
• Work in a variety of ways to ensure students with additional needs are fully included in the learning community.
