Job summary

Winchmore School in London is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a Maths focus to join the Inclusion Faculty. The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, with Maths sessions in Studio 30/40 and responsibilities spanning pupil support and inclusion provision.

The successful candidate will be HLTA-qualified or working towards HLTA certification, collaborating with teaching and inclusion staff to drive effective learning outcomes for SEND learners and smaller groups.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in a school setting.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions and small-group teaching.
• Willingness to assist with timetabling and administration.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in mainstream and inclusion settings.
• Assist with day-to-day timetabling of Teaching Assistants (administrative support, not management).
• Track and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Work in partnership with teaching and inclusion colleagues.
• Contribute to developing inclusion provision.
• Occasionally cover lessons in the absence of Studio teachers.
