Job summary

Woolmer Hill School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a Maths specialism within the Inclusion Faculty. The role focuses on supporting learners with SEND through targeted interventions and small-group teaching while contributing to administrative tasks that support the Inclusion Faculty.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND through targeted interventions.
• Experience in planning and delivering structured Maths sessions in targeted provisions.
• Administrative and organisational support to underpin inclusion provision.
• Willingness to cover lessons in absence of Studio teachers.

Responsibilities

• support learning in mainstream and inclusion settings
• assist with day-to-day timetabling of Teaching Assistants (administrative support)
• track and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
• work in partnership with teaching and inclusion colleagues
• contribute to the development of inclusion provision
• occasionally cover lessons in the absence of Studio teachers
