Job summary

Stockport School invites applications for an Academic Mentor - Specialist Subject Tutor to support Maths. The role is 5 hours per week during term time, with additional paid overtime potential, and a schedule Monday to Friday to suit school needs.

You will work with students in class and in small groups across KS3 and KS4, including Y11 GCSE support, helping learners develop core maths skills and confidence in a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong GCSE passes in English and Mathematics (grade C/4 or higher) required.
• A Level passes or equivalent in other subjects.
• Graduate with Honours degree or higher qualification; QTS or HLTA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support maths in class and in small groups across KS3/KS4.
• Assist GCSE preparation for Year 11 students.
• Engage in academic mentoring and enrichment activities.
