Job summary

Smart Teachers are recruiting a Maths Academic Mentor to join an Alternative Provision in Ealing. You will support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in Mathematics, delivering small group and one-to-one interventions and helping build confidence.

The role involves working alongside teaching staff, monitoring progress and encouraging independent study skills to improve attainment and attitudes toward Maths.

Qualifications

• Graduate with strong Mathematics background.
• Experience supporting pupils in an educational setting is desirable.
• Good communication and motivational skills to engage students.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Maths learning across KS3 and KS4
• Lead small group and one-to-one intervention sessions
• Help students build confidence and develop positive attitudes toward Mathematics
• Work with teachers to identify areas for improvement
• Monitor progress and provide feedback
• Encourage independent study habits
