Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree essential, PhD preferred).
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
• Recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
• Experience in teaching Mathematics in Further or Higher Education is essential.
• Proven ability to support international students academic transition.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons in line with departmental expectations.
• Assist in module development and examination preparation.
• Act as module coordinator for a specific maths module.
• Maintain records of student attendance and performance.
• Support various student engagement activities.

Skills

Teaching experience in Mathematics

Fluent spoken and written English

Competent IT skills

Ability to support international students

Experience preparing resources and assessments

Education
