Job summary

Thrybergh Academy is seeking an Assistant Director - Maths to lead strategic direction and operational delivery of mathematics across the Trust. You will work with the Director to drive pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment frameworks while mentoring staff to foster an inclusive, high‑performing learning environment.

The role requires QTS with a strong maths background, a proven record of leadership, and extensive experience in data analysis, curriculum planning, and cross‑school

Qualifications

• Significant track record in educational leadership and improving student outcomes in secondary maths.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach Subject Directors and teaching staff.
• Strong data analysis skills for tracking progress and informing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment frameworks.
