Job summary

Yate Academy in England is seeking an enthusiastic Director of Maths to lead our maths provision, shaping an ambitious curriculum and driving teaching and learning to help pupils excel. You will work with staff to foster a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement across the department.

You will lead curriculum development for Key Stage 5, monitor performance, support colleagues, and collaborate with senior leaders to raise standards and share best practice across the Greenshaw

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Director of the subject or subject Head (desirable).
• Knowledge of strategies to inspire and improve outcomes for students.
• Outstanding organisational skills to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the role.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths up to Key Stage 5.
• Oversee/organise curriculum delivery within the Maths department.
• Lead department meetings and curriculum development.
• Monitor and analyse student performance and provide reports.
• Support and develop colleagues and performance management processes.
