Job summary

The Stephen Longfellow Academy, an Alternative Provision in the South of Leeds, seeks a Curriculum Leader of Mathematics to lead a department focused on first-class teaching and learning. Qualifications

• A good honours degree in a directly related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments in the subject and their implications.
• Successful teaching record with very good teaching practice demonstrated.
• A passion for education and making a difference.
• The ability to put vision into practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to create a Mathematics Department with high-quality teaching and learning.
• Drive innovative Maths approaches to stimulate all students to reach their potential.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality provision in curricular and extracurricular activities.

Bachelor's (Honours) degree in a related subject
