East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recruiting a Maternity Support Worker to provide direct clinical care to patients and babies within our maternity services, under supervision by the designated midwife.

You will work within specialist and integrated teams, communicate clearly with colleagues, patients and families, and advocate for the patient’s needs while promoting individualised, respectful care across the multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct delivery of clinical care to patients and babies accessing maternity services.
• Work within specialist and integrated teams such as theatres, foetal medicine and community hubs.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and families.
• Promote individualised care tailored to patient and family needs, acting as advocate within the multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake direct care and appropriate interventions under the supervision of the designated midwife to maximise a positive client experience.
• Participate in collection and recording of written and electronic data in line with Trust guidelines and policies.
• Work in partnership with clients and professionals internally and externally to provide an effective network of care.
• Advocate for the department, promoting respectful and flexible team working across areas.
