Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Maternity Support Worker (MSW) to join the maternity team in Chelmsford. You will support qualified staff and help deliver safe, patient-centred care for babies and their families, with emphasis on infection control and teamwork.

This role involves shift/weekend work and offers opportunities to develop skills with access to training and management support within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous Experience in Maternity services.
• Previous experience in healthcare.
• Working towards a band 3.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical baseline observations
• Records and documents episodes of care in accordance with Guidelines
• Liaises with other departments and members of the multidisciplinary team
• Complete further training to add additional skills to your repertoire inc infant feeding support, phlebotomy, etc
