North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Maternity Clinical Support Worker to join the delivery suite, antenatal and postnatal wards. The role involves assisting midwives, caring for women and babies, and supporting family-centered care in a 24/7 setting.

You will work shifts including days and nights, with a focus on safety, hygiene, and compassionate care. A Level 3 qualification and health-care experience are preferred, with training provided as part of NHS standards.

Formación

• Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in health and social care.
• Knowledge of data protection legislation.
• Ability to document clearly and accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to women and babies, supporting the midwife.
• Assist mothers and babies with feeding, washing and bedding.
• Report problems to midwives and escalate concerns.
• Maintain hygiene and clean equipment and wards.
• Assist with transfers and postnatal care.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow infection control procedures.
