Ambitions Personnel is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for maternity cover at our Belton site near Grantham. You will lead a small HR team, advise managers on employee relations, and manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple UK sites, including the rollout of a new HR and Time & Attendance system.

The role demands UK employment law knowledge, people management experience, and strong communication. Part-time flexibility is considered alongside 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or similar role.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law.
• Experience with HR and Time & Attendance systems, including implementation.
• People management or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting HR across multiple sites.

Responsabilités

• Manage and support two HR Assistants, overseeing day-to-day HR administration and transactional processes.
• Provide advice on disciplinary, grievance, attendance and conduct matters, including investigations and meetings.
• Support recruitment activities across multiple sites, including advertising, applications review, campaigns and events.
• Review and update job descriptions, HR policies and procedures.
• Oversee Occupational Health referrals and health assessments.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, absence management, ER and HR queries.
• Support apprenticeships, work experience and learning initiatives.
• Monitor engagement and satisfaction, analyze data for improvements.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly KPIs and workforce metrics for management.
• Assist Group HR Manager with HR strategy and planning.
• Oversee time and attendance processes and payroll data accuracy before payslips.
