Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a Grantham-based client to provide comprehensive HR support across the business, reporting to the HR Manager. The role covers recruitment, employee relations, policies and payroll liaison, attendance and OH coordination, with occasional travel to other sites.

You will work full-time in a busy HR team, applying UK employment law and robust HR systems to drive improvements in staff development and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have HR Advisor experience
• Knowledge of UK employment law
• Proficient in HR and T&A systems
• Experience across multi-site environments
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Ability to work independently with initiative
• Adaptable to change and able to lead in a manager's absence
• Ability to manage workload to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment campaigns and liaise with payroll.
• Provide HR services including policies, procedures and employee development.
• Handle employee relations, investigations and case work as directed.
• Assist with time and attendance coordination and OH referrals.
• Assist with management reporting and HR project work.
• Travel to other sites as required.
• Provide hands-on support for disciplinary, attendance, grievance or conduct issues.
