Ambitions Personnel is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the busy HR team on a maternity cover basis at Belton, near Grantham. You will lead day-to-day HR operations, supervise two Assistants, and advise managers on employee relations while implementing a new HR and Time & Attendance system.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK employment law, multi-site HR delivery, excellent communication, and a proactive approach in a small team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at HR Advisor level.
• Sounds understanding of UK employment law.
• Experience with HR and Time & Attendance systems.
• People management or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting HR operations across multiple sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support two HR Assistants with daily HR administration.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, attendance and conduct issues.
• Recruit across multiple sites: ads, applications, events.
• Review and update job descriptions and HR policies.
• Oversee Health referrals and health assessments.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, absence management and ER queries.
• Support apprenticeships and learning initiatives.
• Monitor employee engagement and KPI data.
• Prepare HR reports and payroll data accuracy checks.
• Lead HR and Time & Attendance system implementation.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
