Job summary

Ralliant in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Materials & Logistics lead to drive efficient procurement, storage and distribution of components and finished goods. You will oversee replenishment, stock accuracy, cycle counts and despatch, while ensuring compliance and timely international shipments.

You will coach and develop a team, implement standard work, and report on performance metrics. A focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a Materials & Logistics team.
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP in logistics environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, FIFO, cycle counts and stock control.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to the Materials and Logistics team with clear priorities.
• Coach, mentor and develop direct reports with regular feedback and performance discussions.
• Ensure domestic and international shipping activities are accurate and compliant.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings to review safety, quality, delivery and priorities.
• Maintain robust stock control, replenishment and cycle counting processes.
• Provide monthly reporting on team performance and logistics KPIs.
• Drive kaizen and standard work improvements across materials handling and despatch.
• Resolve shipping issues via carriers and maintain carrier relationships.
