Job summary

Ralliant in Brighton is seeking a strategic Materials & Logistics Leader to guide all activities from supplier receipt to despatch. You will manage the team, set priorities, and ensure safe, compliant, on-time delivery across domestic and international shipments.

The role emphasizes stock control, cycle counting, robust reporting, and driving Kaizen improvements in stores, despatch, and replenishment. Strong ERP experience (SAP), and effective people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead Materials and Logistics team with clear ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-up meetings to review safety, quality, delivery, inventory and actions.
• Provide accurate monthly reporting on team performance, stock control, logistics performance and despatch.
• Drive continuous improvement (kaizen) across materials handling, stores, despatch and replenishment processes.
• Resolve shipping issues by liaising with carriers for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Develop relationships with Carriers Local Account managers to improve efficiency.
• Ensure domestic and international shipping activities are completed accurately, compliantly and on time.
