Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Materials Manager to lead demand planning, purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, and material flow optimization to support manufacturing operations. The role drives safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements across materials functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field required.
• MBA or CPIM/CSCP preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in Materials Management, Production Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain management.
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, demand planning, supplier management, procurement and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning to ensure materials availability for demand and production.
• Manage inventory turns and implement Kanban, VMI, and safety stock optimization.
• Develop supplier relationships and drive OTD, quality, lead times, and cost improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material strategies with business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement and standard work in materials functions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

MBA, CPM, CPSM, APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification
