Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Senior Materials & Logistics Specialist to lead material receipt, storage, movement and control across UK sites. You will coordinate warehousing operations, liaise with Supply Chain, clients and contractors to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with procedures.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in materials/logistics with proven management capability, ERP/Office proficiency, and a focus on safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years materials/logistics experience with progression to a management position.
• ISCED Level4/5 qualification required.
• Dangerous Goods by Sea & Air not essential; Forklift/Telehandler/HGV licences beneficial.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong planning, organisational and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, manage and maintain warehousing and materials control at the designated facility.
• Coordinate warehousing operations, labour utilisation and throughput.
• Control material allocation, issue and marshalling across locations per plan.
• Provide staff coaching on processes, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Produce shipping documents and maintain procurement system updates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reports.
