Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Materials Manager in Belfast to lead all aspects of materials management, including demand planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory control for manufacturing operations.

You will partner with Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership to align material strategies with business objectives and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Materials Management, Production Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, Inventory Management, and Demand Planning.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning to ensure materials availability to support demand and schedules.
• Manage inventory replenishment and optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Production to align material availability with forecasted demand.
• Identify and mitigate shortages and supply disruptions.
• Drive cost reduction, PPV savings, and productivity improvements with Commodity Managers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure material availability for production and customer commitments.
