Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Luton is recruiting an experienced Material Handler Operator to join a busy site. You will operate material handling machines such as Sennebogen, Fuchs and Liebherr and assist with sorting scrap and recycling materials.

This long-term role offers £24 per hour CIS, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6pm (50 hours per week) with immediate start and ongoing site support from Acorn by Synergie.

Qualifications

• Valid NPORS or CPCS qualification for 360 wheeled excavator operation.
• Proven experience operating material handlers in demolition, recycling or scrap environments.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling machines including Sennebogen, Fuchs and Liebherr.
• Safely move, sort and process scrap and recycling materials.
• Carry out daily machinery checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet site productivity targets.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
