Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting a hands-on Material Handler to support warehouse and inventory activities at our Birmingham B15 site on a 3-month contract.

The role involves cycle counts, locating and counting inventory, verifying part numbers and storage locations, recording counts, and assisting with inventory clean-up and audits. You will work Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, 40 hours per week, wearing PPE and adhering to safety standards.

Gi Group are recruiting on behalf of a global life sciences company that provides products and services used in scientific research, healthcare, and industrial laboratories. We are currently seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and inventory activities at their Birmingham B15 site on a 3-month temporary assignment.

This is a hands-on, warehouse/logistics-based position. The role may require standing and walking for extended periods, working within warehouse/storage areas, and handling materials in line with manual-handling requirements. You must wear appropriate PPE where required and comply with all site health, safety and environmental standards.

Material Handler Pay & Hours:

• £13.53 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 07:30-16:00 (40 hours per week)
• Duration: 3 months

Material Handler Key Duties:
