Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group is recruiting a Warehouse / Packing Operative for a Life Sciences site in Church Stretton. You will pick/pack orders, receive deliveries, perform stock checks, and prepare products for distribution, while keeping a clean, compliant workspace.

You’ll record tasks accurately and follow EH&S/Quality procedures, with full training and an 18-month assignment. The role is hands-on, requires good attention to detail, reliability and teamwork, and offers a

• Good attention to detail and able to follow work instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team.
• Confident communicating and recording information accurately.
• Desirable experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch.
• Receiving deliveries (checking goods against paperwork and completing the goods-in process).
• Stock checks / inventory counts in storage locations.
• Preparing, dispensing and final packaging of products for distribution.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Completing basic records for each task (paperwork / system entries).
• Working safely and following site EH&S and Quality procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and site projects with the team.

Warehouse / Packing Operative (Goods In & Dispatch)

• Days Church Stretton | £13.00 per hour | Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30 |
  37.5 hours 18-month temporary contract | Full training provided We're recruiting a Warehouse / Packing Operative to join a well-established Life Sciences manufacturing site in Church Stretton.

This is a hands-on role in a clean, organised environment where accuracy matters and procedures are clearly followed.

What you’ll be doing Picking and packing orders for dispatch Receiving deliveries (checking goods against paperwork and completing the goods-in process) Stock checks / inventory counts in storage locations Preparing, dispensing and final packaging of products for distribution Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised Completing basic records for each task (paperwork / system entries) Working safely and following site EH&S and Quality procedures Supporting continuous improvement activities and site projects with the team What we’re looking for Essential Comfortable in a physical, hands-on role (standing/walking through the day) Good attention to detail and able to follow work instructions Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team Confident communicating and recording information accurately Desirable (not essential) Manufacturing, production, warehouse or laboratory experience SAP exposure ISO9001 / quality-controlled environment experience Forklift licence Should you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.
