Job summary

Stock Control Operative

We are recruiting a Stock Control Operative in Banbury, to carry out all aspects of warehouse duties as required, taking care to avoid damage to the stock and the warehouse premises.

07:00-15:00 shift available

15:00 - 23:00 shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Goods In - Unload trailers or containers, ensuring stock is correct, undamaged, and palletised correctly. Details to be accurately recorded and receipted into the warehouse.
• Picking - Efficiently assemble loads without error using the RF equipment provided.
• Accept and achieve regularly revised and high pick rates
• Replenishment - Ensure daily replenishment of picking locations within the time scales allocated. The use of MHE may be required.
• Ensure that all stock is safely stored in an assigned location
• Loading - Ensure that all loads agree with transport paperwork and are loaded on time, stacked in the correct sequence, and are configured and restrained correctly.
• Ensure all customer's queries are being answered.
• Ensure all stock control tasks and spreadsheets are up to date.

The ideal candidate:

• Maintain good time keeping.
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
• Ensure that personal presentation (appearance & manner) meets the requirements of the job function.
• Accept the occasional irregularity of hours to achieve completion of important tasks.
