Job summary

BMW UK in Farnborough offers a placement year in Marketing starting July 2027. You will join a team focused on BMW AG-driven marketing activities and e-commerce projects within Customer Support, while collaborating with Retailer and Digital Marketing teams.

The role involves liaising with product managers and agencies, attending calls with Munich contacts, and supporting data reporting and website updates. A Marketing-related degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Studying a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline is desirable.
• Excellent communication and numerical skills are required.
• Aptitude for analysing & presenting information with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems.
• Aptitude for developing creative mechanisms to reach out to different audiences.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet challenging timelines.
• Experience and knowledge of using AI.
• Experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage BMW AG focused Marketing activity and e-commerce projects within Customer Support.
• Support on multiple projects across Retailer and Digital Marketing topics.
• Liaise with product managers and agencies to complete projects.
• Participate in regular calls with contacts in Munich.
• Work with multiple agencies (creative & media) on projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across the department and company in a lateral working culture.
• Support Marketing team with project management and creating presentations to showcase work.
• Support Data team on data reporting to support commercial objectives.
• Work closely with the Data team to deliver data excellence.
• Make changes to the BMW & MINI national websites.
• Support with ad hoc projects where relevant.
