As Marketing Director, you will be a key architect of this new offering. Your focus will be on defining a differentiated customer proposition, driving customer acquisition, and developing strategies for long-term engagement and retention. This is a unique opportunity to shape the brand, voice, and growth engine of a wealth platform from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Proposition: Define and continuously refine OakNorth's private wealth value proposition based on market insights, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, content, referral, partnership) to acquire customers.
- Brand Building: Craft and scale a premium, advice-led brand that resonates with our entrepreneurial, high-net-worth target audience.
- Retention & Engagement: Design and implement customer lifecycle strategies, from onboarding and activation to loyalty and advocacy.
- Analytics & Optimisation: Own marketing KPIs such as cost per acquisition (CPA), client conversion, engagement, and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Finance to align marketing efforts with business growth goals and customer economics.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Position OakNorth as a trusted voice in wealth management through content, partnerships, and events.
What We're Looking For- 10+ years in marketing or growth roles within private wealth
- Proven experience in building customer propositions and go-to-market strategies
- Strong grasp of marketing analytics and performance-led decision-making
- A track record of launching or scaling customer acquisition funnels and retention programs
- Deep understanding of the HNW customer mindset, needs, and behaviour
- Exceptional storytelling and brand development skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy
