Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Marketing and Purchasing Manager to support the growth of our retail and bushcraft course business. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media, mailshots, and other marketing tools, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse market trends to ensure the best purchasing decisions for our organisation. This role requires a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimising inventory levels while aligning with our overall business marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high level of social media presence and put together regular mailshots for our expanding client base.
  • Work with our existing team to increase our market presence.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions and new product ranges.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with agreements and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely availability of goods.
  • Implement effective time management practices to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, including email marketing strategies and social media, is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on organisational objectives.
