Job summary

Booker is hiring a Business & Market Insights Partner to join a growing team focused on insights. You’ll work with internal data, research and external intelligence to uncover trends, opportunities and risks across customers, competitors and markets.

You’ll analyse data, develop segmentations and build dashboards to support commercial decisions and performance evaluation. A strong data storytelling capability and stakeholder influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insight or analytics role, independently delivering insights from start to finish.
• Curious mindset and genuine interest in market dynamics and customer behaviour.
• Experience with large datasets (sales/loyalty/customer data) and strong analytical judgement.
• Ability to synthesize data sources into a clear and compelling story.
• Ability to handle imperfect data and make balanced recommendations.
• Proven track record turning insight into actionable recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Adaptable in a growing, evolving team.
• Retail/wholesale/FMCG experience beneficial.
• Strong SQL skills and Databricks experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of insight projects from brief to analysis, recommendations and action planning.
• Support development and governance of insight tools, data sources, reporting systems.
• Analyze market, sales, loyalty and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments and industry trends.
• Use customer and market segmentations to inform decision making and strategy.
• Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPIs to track performance.
• Combine internal data with external intelligence to create actionable insight.
• Support strategic planning through segmentation, market sizing, benchmarking and trend analysis.
• Present insight clearly to Sales, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Product and Leadership.
• Help shape the future of the Insight function, including tools and processes.
