Job summary

Copello is seeking a skilled Service Engineering Coordinator to oversee marine service activities across multiple projects, with hands-on support when required.

You will coordinate engineers, support installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex marine electronic systems, diagnose faults, test, and contribute to documentation and training.

A strong background in marine electronics or naval systems, plus driving licence and eligibility for UK Clearance, are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in marine electronics, naval systems or related engineering environment.
• Experience with marine electronic systems such as navigation, radar, steering or related technologies.
• Proven experience coordinating or supervising engineers.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full driving licence and valid passport.
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise Service Engineers across planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex marine electronic systems.
• Carry out fault diagnosis, system testing and trials at customer sites and onboard vessels.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Service Engineers and apprentices.
• Provide telephone and email-based technical support to customers and service partners.
• Support service activities across a range of current and future maritime platforms.
• Produce technical documentation, maintenance instructions and handbooks where required.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training.
