Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd is recruiting Marine Electronics Technicians and Engineers to join a growing national team delivering navigation, communication, and safety systems to commercial vessels. You'll install, commission, maintain, and survey equipment, and support customers with diagnostics across the UK and occasionally overseas.

The role demands hands-on knowledge of marine electronics, fault-finding, and project support, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in marine or field-based electronics settings.
• Experience with electronic navigation and communication systems.
• Fault-finding and installation expertise.
• Technical support and project engineering experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning marine electronics on vessels
• Performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment surveys
• Supporting customers with diagnostics and fault resolution
• Identifying service opportunities and recommending solutions
• Delivering projects across the UK and occasionally overseas

What You'll Be Doing:

• Installing and commissioning marine electronics on vessels
• Performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment surveys
• Supporting customers with diagnostics and fault resolution

What We're Looking For:

• HNC/HND in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in:
• • Marine or field-based electronics
  • Electronic navigation and communication systems
  • Fault-finding and installation
  • Technical support and project engineering

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving ability
• Clear communication and customer-focused mindset
• Essential: Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

• GMDSS Operator's Certificate
• Radio/VDR Survey or Class Approval experience
• BOSIET/OLF Certification
• Manufacturer-specific training

Medical:

Must be able to pass a medical and annual working at height training
