Job summary

Copello is seeking a skilled Service Engineering Coordinator to oversee marine service activities across multiple projects, with hands-on support when required.

You will coordinate engineers, support installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex marine electronic systems, diagnose faults, test, and contribute to documentation and training.

A strong background in marine electronics or naval systems, plus driving licence and eligibility for UK Clearance, are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in marine electronics, naval systems or related engineering environment.
• Experience with marine electronic systems such as navigation, radar, steering or related technologies.
• Proven experience coordinating or supervising engineers.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full driving licence and valid passport.
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise Service Engineers across planned and reactive maintenance activities.

• Deliver operator and maintenance training.

About you:

• We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background in marine electronics, naval systems or a closely related engineering environment.


• Ideally, you’ll have:


• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.


• Strong experience working with marine electronic systems.


• Experience with areas such as navigation, radar, electronic systems, steering or associated technologies.


• Previous experience coordinating or supervising engineers.
  
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.


• A full driving licence and valid passport.
