Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Oxfordshire is seeking an Operations Training & Development Intern for a 12‑month placement at our new Bicester facility. You will coordinate training, develop materials, and support inductions while gaining exposure to manufacturing transitions and cross‑functional teamwork across Operations, Engineering, Quality and HR.

Based mainly at the Bicester site with occasional time at Eynsham, you will learn how learning and development support a major

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student undertaking a 12‑month industrial placement or sandwich year.
• Interest in manufacturing and learning and development in a hands‑on environment.
• Eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the internship (Summer 2027–Summer 2028).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal training activities, including scheduling sessions, organising logistics, tracking attendance and maintaining training records and our skills matrix.
• Develop and update training materials to support manufacturing processes, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Support new starter inductions and respond to day-to-day operational training queries.
• Coordinate increased training activity for the new Bicester facility as operations transition to the site.
• Identify training needs and coordinate appropriate learning activities with different teams.
• Support internal communications, ensuring training updates and operational information are shared with colleagues.
