Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Oxfordshire invites you to join as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for a 12-month placement. You’ll contribute to the manufacture of high-tech medical imaging equipment and gain hands-on experience within a leading healthcare company.

You will work across manufacturing operations, tackling product development, process improvements and production support, while developing through our Intern Development Programme and learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Physics.
• Seeking a 12-month industrial placement or sandwich year as part of your degree.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proactive with a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth insight into manufacturing operations at a modern high-tech facility.
• Tackle challenges including new product development, facility development and process improvements.
• Experience challenges faced by today’s manufacturing sector.
• Work with a team to complete business critical engineering projects.
